Our Story

Our founders Zahab and Neha Kamal Khan were professional squash players. Growing up as female athletes in Karachi, Pakistan they overcame the struggles of pursuing their sports despite political instability. Throughout their childhood their parents encouraged them to pursue education and supported their careers as athletes. However, they realized that many other children, especially girls, were not as lucky as their families lacked the resources to support their children’s dreams. They began offering their books and sports equipment to other children and ultimately decided to start Educate Athletes Social Welfare Organization to bring their impact to a broader scale. After starting in 2018 paying school fees for three students, they have since gone on to cultivate donors to serve more children and their families, allowing these children to gain education and pursue their passions for sports.
